Plesk, offsite backups, and 5 Gbit/s fiber — with someone watching the server
Every plan includes Plesk, SSL, offsite backups, and a watched pipe — not a cheap shared box and a ticket queue.
Enlighten Studios hosts the WordPress and store sites we build for businesses in Waukesha, Milwaukee, and southeast Wisconsin. The stack is meant to stay fast when a page is popular, not only when it is new. Servers sit on a fiber-rich backbone with 5 Gbit/s-class upload and download, so large media libraries, WooCommerce catalogs, and plugin updates do not crawl the way they do on cheap shared hosts.
You are not handed a generic ticket queue. If DNS, SSL, or a plugin update knocks a site over, you talk to the same studio that designed it.
Every plan includes Plesk, not a locked-down “mystery panel.” From Plesk you can manage domains, SSL, databases, FTP, email, and WordPress itself without SSH unless you want it. We still handle the parts that break sites — core and plugin updates, PHP versions, and firewall rules — so Plesk is a window into the server, not a second job.
Daily backups on the same machine are not a recovery plan. We take regular backups and keep offsite copies so a disk failure, ransomware event, or bad deploy does not take the only restore point with it. Restores are something we actually run, not a checkbox on a sales page.
Basic and Pro include daily snapshots plus offsite copies. Enterprise can use a tighter backup window and a restore drill mapped to how the store takes orders.
Basic is for brochure sites, service companies, and small business WordPress installs that need SSL, Plesk, backups, and a watched server.
Pro is for WooCommerce and Shopify-ready stores that need staging, performance watch, and faster replies when checkout or inventory is involved.
Enterprise is for high-traffic catalogs, custom server layouts, and owners who want SLA-style monitoring and a direct studio contact — not a shared inbox.
Plesk. It is the control panel on our managed hosting, including WordPress toolkit, SSL, databases, and mail when those stay on the same server.
Hosting rides a fiber-rich backbone with 5 Gbit/s-class upload and download. That is the pipe into the server, not a promise that every visitor’s home internet matches it.
We keep daily backups and offsite copies so the restore is not sitting on the same disk as the live site. Ask if you need a specific retention window for compliance or a store.
Yes. We migrate WordPress and WooCommerce sites, cut DNS over, and check SSL, forms, and email so the move is not a weekend surprise.
